2004 59k miles..need some advice..
I was looking at all the threads about how people are getting 05s for 22kish out the door and i started to have third thoughts about this car.
It's an 04 with 59k miles on it and i would be getting it from a dealer for 20k out the door. So i know this sounds pretty stupid but I been getting the price down slowly slowly over the last month and want my rx-8. You guys think 59k is 2 much? It was previously owned by rx8clubber and i got it checked out and it has had all the recalls and oil changes done to it and it drove alot smoother then the other 2 used rx8s in this town (Panama City, FL). Even the Mazda dealership here doesnt have any 05s.
Any advice?
Edit: (Don't think it has any packages but the dealer didnt know..how do i find out?)

The rx-8 will not be cheap if something breaks. If 20k is pushing it, I'd recommend looking at an econobox for a few years. By then, you'll be able to get the RX-8 when it gets a face lift.

You can get a RX-8 with a lot less miles for about the same price if you're patient.
If anything breaks at 59K miles, you're on your own and SOL.
For $20K, you should be able to get yourself a newer car.

59k, your chances of running into problems are more likely, and the warranty is out. Even if it costed you $16-20k, the potential costs would up that a lot more.
But if you really want a nice car, go for it, whether it's that certain car or another deal you can find. Ten years is a damn long time.
