I am sorry to hear that USPS made you go get it. Usually they leave them at the door because of the size of the box.

I am happy that you got them before the weekend got here.

Its alright its alright, not your fault at all.

I know my post office .... they have nothing but a bunch of lazy idiots running the place. They dont even want to deliver some of the *Next day* stuff ... they just leave a notice there and *pretend* that you werent home.

Thx for the fast shipping! See if I have time to play with the stuff tomorrow.

I do not. I cannot get it through normal channels with Mazda. You may want to check with a couple of the other sponsors of this forum as alot of them do import Japan and European parts and may be able to assist you in this search.

Sorry I can't be of more help to you.

I know this is probably rude of me but I'll ask anyway; are the new coils, indeed, upgraded/superior parts to the old ones? I have an annoying misfire that sets a blinking MIL that will eventually go steady. The misfire is atrocious on cold starts at/below 20 degrees and fades as the ambient temp rises. However, it is almost always there at 8K+ rpms. Sorry if it is redunadant but I have been too busy to follow the details on this one. Thanks.

I think Zoom mentioned that the new Coils supposed to be more heat-resistant, and hopefully last longer than the original parts.

With all the nonsense many of us have had to endure, especially with the '04 models, I am wondering if we all aren't just using one Band-Aid after another for our engines. I am going to check all of my sensors and if they are fine, start planning my rebuild for the Spring. I am sick of my car being crippled.

Yes the new coils are an upgrade to the coils they are replacing, they are designed to have a higher resistance to heat. How much higher I can't say as there are no specs that I can find but put it this way I have not had to replace any of the updated ones that we have installed.

Hi Bagman. I have an 04 model and would like to upgrade the coils to for heat reasons. -Living in Florida for one. Pardon my ignorance on this question but is there a performance benefit in this upgrade?

I've heard people say how easy it is to pull them out, but that thing is in the way. Is there a way to reach under and just pull them out?
