X-Pel

Does anyone in the great NW have experience with an installer of the X-pel clear bra? If so, how did it go? Any word other word of mouth or recommendations would be appreciated.

X-pel is a company that makes patterns for paint protection films, they don't actually make PPF. Most anyone who uses X-pel patterns is installing 3M Paint Protection Film. I've used 3M PPF and had no real problems. The only real downer about it is the amount of glue left on the car if it needs to be removed. I've had 3M PPF on my wife's Protege for almost 4 years with no issues at all. What I install now is a Solargard product called Clearshield. A definite step up IMO.

Bueller?

Let's rephrase, does anyone in the NW have experience with an installer of any clear bra product (no matter the manufacturer)? Or even window tinters? Help save a Shinka from the horrors of rock chips!
