I just want to know if there would be a better day for everyone cause simply this is not best for me and far from me is there maybe another place we could meet as well or is everyone set on this day and place?

So Thursdays were selected... because it just was. At first we did it on kind of random days then settled on Thursdays for no apparent reason. Pretty sure Dick's won out because a, it's a drive in, b, Shin and I could pretty much roll out of bed and be there in 5min and it was close enough that Brad was always willing to go which means guaranteed attendance of 3 and c, the name lends itself to awesome thread titles.

That said, pick a time and a place then start a thread and people may show. We've tried Saturday morning meets in the past both down around Southcenter and in the U-Village in Seattle with decent success. Dick's worked well because its location is pretty accessible and we never set a fixed cadence, it was always just whenever someone felt like making a thread.

Keep in mind, the weather is getting colder now so people's tolerance for outdoor evening meets is going to be lower than it was over the summer. For me, if I don't have other plans and it's not a hassle for me to make it to a meet, I'll usually show up.

 

Wow....another thread and you've never shown up. Dude you are ruining the Ft. Lewis name. Just stop with these threads please! At least I have a good reputation for showing up when I say I will.

BTW the ZEX kit showed up at my buddies house!!!! I think Im just going to have it installed when I come home in Feb-March.

Thursday Dick's just ended up being that day because some of us are power drinkers on friday and sat night. Than some of us are overtime ******. Another thing is that we can show up and stay till 10:30pm and traffic in and out of Dick's is pretty low. Try going there on a Fri or Sat night and your luckly to even find a parking spot.

Like Nick said you can always make posts about wanting people to hang out but you should at least show up to one Dick's meet. Because if you start a thread about meeting at a bar, alki, Dick or a drive how do we know you will even show?

Oh final note;

Thursdays Dick's days stay on thursdays. Its like Thanksgiving on the 3rd thursday of every November. You just cant change it to the 4th Wed of November just because it fits YOUR schedule.

How is the parking there, I work at the U, and even though its a hassle (I live in Smokey Point) I would hate for it to be on a fri or sat, i could immagine the parking sucking then, but how is it thursday, is there enough room for a good group of us?
