Where to get oil change

Heyy,
So I was wondering some good spots to get my oil changed.
I live in the Bellevue/Seattle Area.
I took it to the dealership last time and they did a poor job.
So if anyone knows a good place that won't rape my wallet (or me or my car in that case) let me know!

Thanks!

Do it yourself or use a dealer.
Or find an old dog and have him teach you mechanics.

How much did the dealership charge? And what did they screw up?

Keep in mind your oil change records are critical. IMO it is totally worth the few extra dollars to have the dealership do the scheduled oil changes. They will have a history of your changes in their computer and they will know who you are by face.

Well I would not anything about that yet that is

Good point about heavily modded 8s because the dealerships will take note of what is installed. If you do not have mods that cancel your warranty then go to the dealership for oil changes. If you do not then be prepared to keep excellent records and hope the dealership does not challenge you.

That's because there are actually like 5 filters that will work on most subarus lol. But it is worth a little more money to take it to a shop just so there is a record of it that could be shown if you need warranty work done.

I just installed my midpipe so I'm scared to have my car at the dealership. Don't know if that's a happy ever after thing, or a warranty breaker....Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

I let the dealer change mine once, since I needed it and I was already there for a flash. But other than that time, I've always changed it myself. I do buy the filters from my more local dealer though, so that should be something like having an extra record somewhere. The filters have always been buy 3 or 4 and get 1 free, but they never have enough crush washers!!!

BTW, during lunch today I saw a shop by my work is now advertising a $19.95 oil change special, but free for all Yugo's!

I do the same thing, with the oil filters. I write my milage on them and save the oil reciept.

This way you still get face to face time with them if you are in there for a minute or two.
