WA/OR Meeting? July? August?

Anyone up for a road trip? Maybe get Corksport, etc, to host a meeting, then a local 8 owner lead the group thru some nice roads? End up w/ a pot-luck BBQ somewhere?

Thoughts?

Im up for something.

Since this is youre thread I think (hope) people are waiting for something more definitive befroe responding. I'd suggest propose what kind of meet (drive and meet or meet only, etc), the location, date, and time. Then I'll bet you'll get people providing alternate idea's.

Side note- Darin, are you still doing the track day in July?

Mt St Helens would be close to the middle for OR/WA/E. WA drivers. And is a nice drive.

My boss 'cancelled' my leave, due to some re-scheduling of a conference

I'm up for a second annual RX8 club Mt. St. Helens drive...we had one last October and had 7 8s there if I remember right.

Thoughts? My schedule dictates that it be on a Friday or Saturday.

St Helens sounds great! How about this - bbq at my place in Puyallup, then Hwy 7 to 12, to windy ridge? or St Helens, then bbq?

I'll smoke them the night before and just bring them ready to go. All you have to do is heat them up, slap some sauce on them, and EAT

Nope... no clue... the NW section seems a bit dead... I may take my Rex to St. Helens though with a friend in his Scion for some pic opertunities soon... no clue when guess it depends on weather and schedules... Id like to meet other RX8 owners though, I have many noobish questions.

I can't make it to tonight's meeting at Izzy's due to customers in town. Would love to hook up later this month. I'm thinking of getting a new dyno done in Tacoma next week - maybe you all could join me to watch??

Later

As witnessed by another thread, we've been trying to concoct a meeting for those of us in the northern reaches of the sound; since getting to Olympia is rather a pain. It looks like we've got the two of you in the Everett area, we've people in Kirkland and Sammamish - perhpas someone will figure out a good place in the northern reaches for a meeting.

Now that's a good location, with lots of parking space and a decent selection of restaurants around. Thursday would be a good day.
