So who here lives (or drives around) in the Vancouver area???

I've had my car for over 6 months now and hadn't seen another 8 out on the road, at least not while I've been in mine. That is untill last week when a nice Yellow pulled up behind me by the Orchards Fred Meyer. Then today I saw another Silver pulling into the new Costco. And I've seen some other around town, like a pretty Blue parked by the mall.

When ever I see an 8 I wonder if they're a forum member and who they are. So who are you people? If you live or drive alot in this area please give a shout out and post yourself in this tread.

I live not too far away in Gresham. I have a pearl white GT

 

There's two black ones from out Camas way. Both with custom license plates.

There will be a Titanium one in East Vancouver shortly. Just waiting on the sale of my current car. :-)

 

I live here in the coov. Live on the east side, but work in the NE area. Silver Titanium. I see 8's all the time. You need to get out more.

Thats true. I've had my 8 for almost 8 months now, and I only have 4800 miles on it, and I drive it nearly ever day. But I did put the last 300 miles on it just this weekend, And I didn't see any 8's the whole trip.

 

I saw a good looking silver one over on Chokalov by Fred Meyer yesterday evening. Had all the trim pieces and spoiler.

 

do you have the Titanium MS Protege with graphics on it? if so, i think ive seen you on airport way.

HorsepowerFreaks does aftermarket parts. Performance and upgrade oriented type things. Next door is TorqueFreaks. They do service, installs, and dyno tuning.

I've only worked with Mazdas for the past 5 years so I'm active on a number Mazda message boards. I'm planning on getting an RX-8 eventually so I'm reading up on a lot of stuff also.

Well, I live in portland but work in Vancouver, you'll see me driving a blue one everyday on I-5 north around 6:30 AM and I-5 south (around 6 PM) and between that time its gonna be parked at 96th. and mill plain willamette dental.

 

There is a house that owns 2 RX-8 in Vancouver, one Dark Green and one Black. they live a block away from me. HorsepowerFreak, I think i saw your car at Unichip one time, I was there when they prototype their chip on my mazda 6s. and I saw your car, looks pretty sweet!

 

Did you see I mentioned that house too? :D I live in that area also.

I didn't know they made one of those EMS units for the 6 also.... Nice. How much power did they pull out of your car?

 

it gain about 16hp just the chip itself. i'm happy with that gain becuase i didn't have to pay for it. Merry Christmas!

 

New Titanium on the West Side, Salmon Creek-Felida area. I routinely see one other Titanium in the mornings when I take my kids to school.
