TWR October Drive - 26 october - Haunted Highway Hustle III
Haunted Highway Hustle III
As usual, we're racing the weather to make one last trip into the mountains in October. Dress in layers, the weather down here says nothing about the weather up there. The last couple of years has seen us driving rain and enjoying brilliant sunshine once we got to town. What town? Why, Leavenworth of course. While Oktober fest is technically done by the time we get there, the town is usually still celebrating.
We'll meet at Lewis St Park in Monroe, head out on one of my favorite childhood roads and rejoin Hwy 2 in Sultan. We'll get off the beaten path where we can, but most of the trip will by on Hwy 2. However, it always works out well to approach Leavenworth from the North (lots of fun corners) so for those who didn't join on the first Haunted Highway Hustle, you're in for a surprise, and everyone, you know how much fun we had.
Full details, a list of who's coming, and registration at http://www.the-winding-road.com/modu...ent.php?eid=46

Make sure you register on The Winding Road (linked in Kris' post). Don't worry about the paying for a route book or w/e bit, first trip is always free and as far as I know, most people pay in person on the day of the event anyway. And yes, it's on

Just checked Kristopher's website. No "official" registrations yet, just one comment saying someone is planning to go.
And, DAMN, I forgot it was the 26th and signed up/paid for a workshop that whole weekend!!! Arggghhhh! This would have been my 3rd Leavenworth trip
Do it you guys - it's a blast! And get a pic of the goats for me.... tradition

I'm in and signed up. Jen will be coming too.
Kris. Check out who's been posting on my clunking suspension thread.
I'll bring a bunch of zip ties for everyone to try out on the drive to see who's using the most suspension.
