Ok so i'm going to be back in the Ft. Lewis area again after being in the sandbox for the last year and need some good ideas on what to do or place to see. I was only in the area for about 45 days with most of that was getting stuff ready to go back over seas after doing a year in Korea. I wont have the 8 with me until some time in July since I think the body shop in CA killed my motor , so anything to help me kill some time until I can go get it will help.

You can try go-karting up in Seattle.

Otherwise there's the underground tour, hiking on Mount Rainier (which is always nice)--there's also a train ride up there that tours a bit of the area, Northwest Trek, Enchanted Village should be open soon (if not already), etc... just depends on what you like to do.

Hey thanks, done the karting thing before didnt really do anything for me since friends have racing karts. Im going to pass on the Hiking since I have done my share of walking around here in Iraq.
Whats this underground tour thing and also whats some good spots for Music(metal/rock/punk/etc...)?

paintball... their is a big scenirio event going down in Lebanon Oregon on may 30th 31st and June 1st. should be about 200 to 300 people there. it base of the game halo. the web site to register is tawpaintball.com

The Winding Roads is having a car run this weekend on the 25th. You should ride along with someone and get to know some of the other 8 owners in the NW.

Well I wont be back state side for a few more weeks, so the paintball thing is out and I will hit up the car run in June with one of the guys i been around since nov. 05 since he picked up an 8 when home on leave, Keser_B on here.

As you can see by my name, fishing is a big thing here. Scuba diving is another activity. I can imagine you aren't really into paintball.

Paintball is alright, but only if you have people who like to play aswell around you. Since I am from the south hunting/fishing is a big past time for me, just being single wont allow me to have the stuff I would normally keep like my kimber, M1, 12ga, fishing rods/tackle since it would be to much stuff for the small rooms were gettin on base. Damn it just hit me im not going to have room for car parts in my room anymore like I do with the 7 back home : ( .
