Hey all, i was just at XXX in issaquah and they have ALL MAZDA MEET !!! advertised with a huge sign. we should GO!! lets show a presence at this one.

 

I doubt I can make it to this because I have to drive to Tacoma on Sunday and have a concert that evening. So I doubt I would be able to make it. And usually they have them around 3pm or so.

They had a meet only a month ago. If so I just may have to go since my car is finally out of the shop.

What happened today? I think there were probably only 20 cars there total - I think about 5 8's - Kristopher, the new guy, me, Shaun and Proxi... The guy at XXX said the event was cancelled, but they weren't told until the last minute so they were all staffed up for a huge turnout... very sad.

Yeah, a little unfortunate. Apparently one of the organizers has been on strike, and the individual he passed the ball to, dropped it, big time. Jose, the XXX head hauncho had to call them and find out what was going on. We peaked at a little more than a dozen cars, but all together, 20-30 wound up coming and going throughout the afternoon.

 

Thanks for the call Kris. It was cool to meet some of the other Mazda folks. And A sizeable VW crowd showed up so at least Jose made some money. Especially on my burger.

Only thing is it kinda gives the Mazda crowd a bad name.
