ok.. so the saga continues.. while i was getting the bolt checked they went ahead and threw in a complimentary oil change(which should have been done anyway. car sitting for over a month and all).as im leaving the lot to go home, it the engine feels like its bogging BAD!! no power... and some excess smoke from the pipes. so i turn around and head back. come to find out they put 7qts of oil (mazda recommends 4.1 for ref. purposes.) they drain the oil do a diagnostic, find no problems but a misfire fault that has been cleared and fixed. i get home a notice oil(not trans. this time) dripping from the engine bay. i get under it and cant see from where so i open the hood. oil had been sucked into my intake manifold.. spraying down my air filter(brand new) and leaking out of my airbox all over the inside of my engine bay. .. promises from Walkers, i will get a full detail including engine bay, new spark plugs and a full engine check to be done tomorow, oh and of course a new air filter!! WTF.

^If you're looking for a good place to go, IMHO (along with Shaun and others), the best dealer in terms of experience with 8's is University Mazda.

7qts? What the hell was he thinking?

Actually, my money, were I the gambling type, would be on them not draining the oil and just adding an engine's worth to the old stuff.

Actually, University Mazda makes a lot more sense really, since it's just a few miles from where I live... while LJ is closer to where I work. Decisions decisions!

Kris you may want to bring one(or more) of those tents so we can still stand outside. it may be a bit wet.
