Alright! So for those going to the event on Saturday, we should meet up at the Tacoma Mall Krispy Kreme around 7am. Please post here if you're going to go! (I'm talking to you, Ireland )

For those coming from Seattle or North of the city, we can meet up at Dick's at more like 6:30 and then head down and meet up with anyone else. Preregistration is now closed for both of this weekend's events

Just got back today from PR, with only two starvation incedents. The first was after 55 min of solid driving, yes that's right all you Alfa and Porsche club drivers, I went through more than a quart of oil during my first session and in 4th at about 115 MPH it limited at about 7K. Pulled off the track and it was just below the last dot above the add line. Finally the last lap of the day I went around turn 7 and the engine cut out and died. Luckily I was right there by the exit of the track so I coasted off the track and I got the engine to restart. When it cut I was at a 1/4 of a tank. After I got everything wrapped up for the day when I restarted the engine my fuel gauge had gone from 1/4 when I left the track to below the E with the light on. I guess all the sloshing was giving me an incorrect reading. Just a heads up for anyone else out at a track day; a 1/4 of a tank could mean EMPTY I was able to get to a gas station with no problem, though I had less than 1 gallon left.

I got a lot of footage that I'll need to go through with my new camera and mount and I'll be posting it soon, but so far my best time of the day is just over 1:46 I drove about 200 miles out at the track today. Had a really great time.

I'll see everyone out at Bremerton on Sat!

What a day what a day! Interesting course, hard to get right, rewarding when you did. Man...

-A Civic Si went into The Ditch
-An 8 went 4 wheels off
-Chris Miller spun and took out the timing lights
-The Rotus didn't die on course!
-I got kicked out of Novice... for the one remaining event
-I beat Rick Vomencia (sp?)!
-I also beat the Rotus

There was a car today from a 24hrs of Lemons team today:

I don't have any pics of it from the back, but they didn't have any rear brake lights (aside from the small center/top one), so they had 8 plastic reindeer who all waved their legs and had a target on their chests that lit up.

Friday: Scott went to PR for Proformance Advanced Lapping
Saturday: Scott, Shin, Ireland and myself all went to BSCC's event #1 make up (Shin left after the morning)
Sunday: Ireland and myself went to BSCC's last event of the year (#8) though Ireland came in the afternoon only.

I dunno man, there really isn't anything left. I just added 2 more Autocrosses, both next weekend and both are WWSCC at Sanderson Field. I've never been to one of those and I don't think I will next weekend...

I actually considered this weekend the end of the season

Well... Brad's borrowing my stock wheels for a little while to account for his suicidal tire until his Star Specs get in so I won't get my all seasons for another few weeks... maybe I'll go on Saturday this weekend.

I've convinced my Officemate to do the Porsche school on November 1st, so I'll be volunteering (and driving his STI at least once in the afternoon )

The track day at Pacific Grand Prix this week was awesome. It rained all day and it was still a blast. I only went for half a day and I got around 50 minutes of track time. The track is very good and I can't wait to drive it in the dry. They are planning to continue the track days through the winter but it will probably be at least spring before I can make another one.
