Ill be making a weekend trip 24, 25 coming home afternoon 26th. I might have to come out to PIR with you guys and run my car, unless its like SIR was on friday night TNTs. Than ill come to watch. Either way whose down for some beers?

 

Leaving seattle at 3pm. Anyone between on the way down wants to roll into Portland with me hit me up. Id like to hit up PIR for some TnT but doubtful with all the traffic im going to hit.

I just got into Portland at 830. I sat in traffic from Seattle - Ft Fewis for 3.5 hours. ****. Than I got hit with laser while doing 90+ trying to make up time. Luckily Nick let me try out his radar detector and I got a scatter. Good thing for 6th to 3rd, braking hard and pulling ebrake dropping back down to 55. Phew. Oh well im here. If any of your oregon guys are interested in say hi shoot me a PM.

Btw theres a sick FD parked outside the hotel. Bout to go get some pictures Hopefully he doesnt leave.

 

So we were driving around killing time. Drove to PIR and Expo center and saw some mustangs pulling in. Thought/said lets check it out.

I saw a stock VR 8 there though. Was getting some stare downs by a few kids, was that anyone on the board? You should have came over and talked to me. I would have walked through the crowd saying Who has the VR rx8 and wants to touch butts! But the girl wouldnt let me do that

Yeah I would have talked but I had a pesky stater sitting off my bumper on my way from 205 into Portland.

I did in the middle of no where by the Airport/Hotel get nailed with a laser for like 5 sec, go away than hit me again as I pulled away from a light. I was goose necking looking for a hiding cop but didnt see one. Sneaky bastard or the airport was throwing something off and bounced off my car?

Checking out, going to look for a Carls Jr. than bail back north. To bad none of the portland guys were free to hang out for a bit. Oh well, I guess ill see them at the Dyno day. Or another random trip to PIR.

 

The only false-positive laser I ever got was once, getting off a ferry (and then never again since). My guess is their range finders set it off, so it's possible there's something similar coming off of a plane or the control tower.
