The beauty of it is - it's a 'car' group. Nobody should be afraid to 'drive'.

:)

Organize a Chukanut drive, and i'll head up. :D

okok, I could make a nw site though, just dunno if its worth the work if ppl just frequent here... I run club sites, just know that if its just more convienent posting here theres no point.

Anyways.. yea Id love a up north 8 meet... but hell who listens to me, I got a nissan se-r spoiler on my 8... ugh...

Well then we should go ahead, Though with your SE-R Spoiler we might have to ask you to park...ya know...over there-----> :hahano:

Met with 05TiGr8Lady last night in Mill Creek, that was a good time. She and my wife seemed to hit it off well and we enjoyed some good Sushi.

But I am all for a NORTH Enders RX-8 dinner meet somewhere. Just so long as NON-Northenders are welcome as well.

We should find out how many we have in Bellingham and then adjust the location accordingly. If we have a lot then Arlington Area might be jus tthe ticket. Olympia Pizza right there in smokey Point is always tasty, and there is Tokyo House Sushi, and Katana's all easy to get to from Exit 206 and all tasty... So there are options up there. Only concern would be trying to head up north during Rush hour, it can be a nightmare, would prolly be easier for the Northern folks to head Southbound around 6-7PM.

Whatever the case may be, sounds like a good Idea.

:ylsuper: That's a hell of an Idea, we can go scare the shit outta some sportbikes, just pray for little bit of rain and they are ours in the tight stuff.

I've only ridden it once before, and I remember it being a really good time.

We could do Chukanut up and back and then do dinner in Smokey Joint somewhere, or Chow in Bellingham.

FABRO 04-12-2006 11:39 AM

I'm willing to meet, someone needs to organize a montly meet where we can just meet up and eat, talk about cars, and maybe go for a little drive. I live in the renton/kent area not far from Seattle.

Ducky 04-12-2006 02:54 PM

Your just jealous of my cross manufactured beast. ^^

Alrighty alright... har har har...

Just wait till i get the money for the spoiler i want, that thing will be soooo gone...

When we all meet, we need Mr. DMP to take some group pics. DMP is the man when it comes to those kinda things. Does Saturday, April 22 sound good to most of you guys?

Revlis 04-13-2006 04:16 PM

I just want to here DMP's exhaust... I'm shopping and I cannot find any live 8's with a decent exhaust sound...

Ducky 04-13-2006 07:58 PM

Anyone been to the "Claim Jumper" by Alderwood mall? Never have but heard good things, Just trying to throw out meeting places...

blakew15 04-13-2006 09:24 PM

Claim jumper is known for huge portions :] sounds good

Revlis 04-13-2006 10:41 PM

Claim Jumper is a decent choice so long as it's not a Friday/Saturday thing. We can call ahead for Large parties and yeah the food is tasty and you will leave full!

Pretty sure just about everyone can find the SouthSide of the Alderwood Mall too...

Revlis 04-14-2006 05:56 PM

Hell I live about a Block from the Claim jumper. I'll prolly have to drive out to Redmond and back just to make it feel like I went somewhere.

I'm cool with it, I was just hoping for someplace a little more Car friendly, someplace where we could actually see our cars. But I'm down, we could all meet in the Parking Garage just West of Claim Jumper, Top floor, Should give us plenty of parking.

Revlis 04-14-2006 05:57 PM

Oh and Count me in...

Ducky 04-14-2006 11:35 PM

Dammit what day? and time?...

Heck Ill have to park on the lowest floor seeing as I have a nissan part on my car

Nope its all new addition to the mall i think. I know you shouldnt have to pay.

Hrm Lucky number Sleven should be playing at that loews theatre... might have to go there after the meet lol.

05TiGr8Lady 04-15-2006 12:55 PM

So are we just eating... or eating and driving too?

The only pay parking in the Alderwood mall is the Valet section. But that's small and it's in the main parking area in front of Claim Jumpers and stuff.

And I think I'm working Sunday the 23rd :|

I'll be like 2 minutes from you guys and working in the mall haha, oh well have fun!

kristopher_d 04-15-2006 06:33 PM

My brother's B-day is the 22nd, so the 23rd would be easier to swing. Though, I can make an excuse if I have to for Saturday.

I'm in - noon on the 23rd at Claim Jumper at Alderwood, top floor of the parking garage.

Sounds like Revlis and Kristopher D have some ideas about places to cruise. If we're eating at noon, we should have at least a few hours for driving... Chuckanut... Stevens Pass... ?

Revlis 04-16-2006 12:15 AM

OK SUNDAY SOUNDS GREAT!

THe Parking Garage I mentioned is Right in front of Lowe's Theater and West of the ClaimJumper. If you've not been to the Alderwood Mall in a couple of Years I guess it's gone through quite the renovation. Top Floor of the Parking garage SHOULD... SHOULD give us a nice Photo Op! with plenty of room. I dunno though, that Mall is jumping on the weekends.

I'm all for it though, sounds good. After Chow we could toodle on down to Edmonds and Photo Op by the Water somewhere.

FABRO 04-16-2006 12:20 AM

Sounds like a great plan Revlis! Hopefully it's going to be sunny next weekend so we can take some good pictures.

kristopher_d 04-16-2006 05:55 PM

Not Steven's. Who the hell knows what the weather will be doing up there this time of year.

blakew15 04-16-2006 09:37 PM

Stevens is a little far..as for me showing up..Ill check the calendar and let you know..Im about 9 miles away

there should be enough parking, but driving anywhere close to the mall is always a pain on the weekends. edmonds does sound good though for a photo

TheBri 04-17-2006 10:33 AM

I'm in the Kirkland/Bothell area. I can't make this Sunday's little get together but I'd be down with future events.

dmp 04-18-2006 09:29 AM

anyone have a CanScan? My car had a blinking CEL today, and I'd love to be able to read it; thus, if somebody has one, and a LT, I'd appreciate a few minutes of their time :)

blakew15 04-19-2006 10:36 PM

Just making sure, but isnt there 2 parking garages? one by the movie theater...one for mall parking?

05TiGr8Lady 04-19-2006 10:54 PM

Blake, Here's what Revlis said... I haven't been there for eons, so I was heading for the one by the theater...

blakew15 04-19-2006 10:57 PM

Ok i remember reading that..lol

I know where it is now..all clear

Sopheak.Reach 04-20-2006 12:40 AM

I'm pretty new to this forum but count me in. I've always wanted to attend a meet.

Revlis 04-20-2006 01:02 PM

Yeah, I'm talking about the Parking garage right next To JCPenneys there at the SW entrance to the mall off of 33rd. Head to the top of that, I am hoping there will be plenty of parking up there and we'll all get to listen to our rides heading up through the Garage, which if you haven't heard it yet, sounds really nice.

Then we'll Photo-Op and then head to chow.

Revlis 04-20-2006 01:08 PM

Now, as for a place to cruise/drive after lunch? I dunno, still wrestling with this. I mean we could try to take a little cruise down Olympic View but it's prolly going to be kinda busy. But the drive into Edmonds down to the dive Park there by the Ferry is always pretty, might be good photo-Op there as well.

Otherwise... I dunno, I know of a few backroads out east, Sportbike favorites... Some twisties and nice country roads... It'll be up to the group, I'll make certain I have maps available for a few options.

Rev
