Hello all just loving my new rx8 silver basic though oh well, i am looking to definatly trick it out when i get the funds lol. I think 1st order of business is the agency dual power exhaust or "hymee"??? oh well I am up for drives from olympia to beaverton looking for car ppl 2 hang out with!! hit me back on that subject if interested also wat are some do's and don'ts for mazda rx8 upgrades?? hmm? ^_^ get back 2 me!!

Suspension is a DO. A really big DO!!!!!!!!!!
Revving the hell out of her every chance you get is an enormous, gigantic, unquestionable DO!!!!!!!
Exhaust will make you noisier, but not much faster.
Everything else is up to you.

Oh, and no complaining about fuel mileage. Some people get in the low 20's. The last few tanks I've gotten 11-12 mpg (I have a disorder in my right foot where it tends to push any pedal it comes in contact with REALLY hard).

hey thanks for all the replies!! and about the gas milelage it's ok i wanted a sports car so i got one lol, i have been looking i will be showing up at the meet in portland at ron tonkin i think it will be fun do you know after that if there is going to be a drive later that day?? hmm? get back to me all and any info is well apprecaited thanks rx8 club! ^_^

I think it describes a lot of us.
I'm planning on moving next month, which means a longer commute. Seeing the numbers on my fuel consumption, it may be less expensive to buy a commuter car than continuing to drive my 8 to work.
