Mid Winter Wonder III - 22 Feb 09
For Mid Winter Wonder III, The Winding Road's February Sunday Drive, we're making our way from East Everett to Mill Creek and enjoying the scenery and wonderfully twisted back roads of southern Snohomish county while we're at it. We'll start at Langus River Front Park on Ross Ave, Everett, and wind our way through Grantite Falls and stop for lunch in Sultan. We'll then make our back west, passing the edges of Monroe and Snohomish before finishing up in Mill Creek.
The drive is scheduled for 22 February. Driver Sign in at 9am, Drivers' Meeting at 9:45, and departure at 10am.
Full details and registration at The Winding Road Drivers' Club official event page.

Jingle Ballzzzz!
Kristopher, I noticed you are including a "drivers lunch" now. I didn't see a description of it on TWR. How's it gonna work? BBQ and you provide everything? What about bad/cold weather days?
Not sure if I can make this one, but maybe...
(BTW - "Mid Winter Wounder"... I don't think you wanna be wounding anyone on the drive )

For February and March I'm making arrangements with local restaurants. Come April, and warmer (hopefully) weather, I'll be switching over to either prepared picnics or box lunches. And yes, I'm providing everything. The old way of doing things had some Dept of Health issues that I'm just not prepared to deal with right now.

That chip isn't very sanitary!
Should be fun, I'll be there! It's been too long and I need to warm up for Bremerton the week after

It's actually the fact that as organizer I'm responsible for ensuring that all the food served as part of the event is safe. If I arrange for participants to bring food to share, I could be held responsible for that food.

How many people are going? I fly back on Friday, but we have our Battalion ball on Sat. It really depends on how many people say they will show up....I could get really fucked up for less than 10 dollars and not make it Sunday depending on how much I drink. I just need to decide now which will be more fun.

Anyways, I'll be there, trying to decide which membership package I'm willing to buy first though...
