Hey All,

I've lurked around here for awhile but haven't really made an intro. zgot my 8 at the end of September used. 18,000 miles Brilliant Black 2005 Touring. I've seen lots of 8's in the area and have been told by the ones I've chatted with that this is the place for all 8 owners to be a part of.

I am a member of MazdasNW.com and attend their monthly meets. There is a few 8s in the group and they all say I need to come to the weekly Dicks meets in the summer when they start back up. I assume they're posted in the NW thread right?

I look forward to meeting some people and getting some ideas on mods for my 8.

Lurk no more. The Dick's meets are posted here and should start more regularly soon. There are lots of people to help with mods, but I'm not one of them I'm a stock'er!

Cool, welcome! I'm going to go out on a limb and say you've met Brad (Rawrx8, Galaxy Grey w/ a cage and red racing seat) and Sean (Brilliant Black with a sweet stereo and carbon hood).

We do meets at Dick's on most Thursdays in the Summer. We always make a thread either that day or a couple days before that's some kind of pun on the name.

Thanks for the welcomes. Yea I know Sean and Brad those are the main two I've talked with. Sean's 8 is coming along nice, not sure when you guys last saw it. I am excited to see some more 8s and show off the few mods I have done (mainly lights). Dondo I think I've seen once around Renton a few months back. You gave me a flash but I was spacing out and didn't flash back.

How soon are the weekly meets starting back up? Any meets you guys have besides the Dicks? Any one have interest in joining up for a meet at one of the MazdasNW ones? They have a large monthly meet and I am typically one of two 8s there. There are a few RX-7 FCs and FDs that are there but it is far from enough rotarys. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

hey rey rey im pretty new as well. when i get back to WA ill hit up some of the MazdaNW meets with you. not sure where you are located but if we can work soemthign out maybemeet up and roll into the meets together. i just cant wiat to get back install my exhaust get my misfire fixed and drive it again
