Sorry! I really should have posted this sooner...
For those of you interested, the last IUGA LAN party of the 2007-2008 academic year is this Saturday May, 17th from 7:00pm-3:00am in Mary Gates Hall 430 and 420 on UW campus in Seattle.
Over 30 computers will be running Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike: Source, Warcraft 3, Worms Armageddon and Call of Duty 4. In MGH 420 we will have Rock Band, Halo 3, Mario Kart, Smash Brothers Brawl, and whatever else people bring.
Cost is $7 at the door. Everyone is invited and pizza and soda will be available.
PM me for directions and I can send you my cell number in case you get lost.

And will definitely pwn a few for ya!
Proxi: Wow! Those are some sucky hours for work!! Too bad you can't make it.
But if you DO happen to get out earlier, come join us! We'll be here until 3.
My bad. It's AM not PM -- that's 6pm to 2:30am. I actually like that shift. Less traffic going and coming from work. And definitely less distractions at work - makes it easier to finish my job. But it screws up my "body clock" and now I usually don't sleep until 4am, even when I'm off from work.
That makes sense, Proxi! Although the going to bed at 4am thing does sound kind of crazy--what time do you wake up then?
Fabro - No, unfortunately I don't.
....that is until June anyway--by which time I'll definitely let you guys know (but in the meantime you should check the gamer thread in the lounge--a couple of the other guys have listed theirs on there).

You guys missed a fun event! the4v3ry made it!
So I didn't pwn a soul. We spent most of the time on cod4, and unfortunately I've only played that on single player mode a tiny bit. I spent most of the time doing avg.. cs would have been a better turn around dangit!
Here's a group shot of the last standing at 2am (there was about 35 ppl altogether, and another row of computers to the right):

And here's one of the4v3ry.. I told him not to die while taking this shot.

And one of me lookin' for food at 2am. 20 boxes of pizza and only 2 slices left by the end of the night! wth?!

That was a lot of fun! It's been too long since I've been to a LAN party, and I used to really enjoy gaming cafes (of which there are too few in Seattle). It was great to meet you and your hubby Kari, and everyone there was interesting and nice.
Plus, I got to walk around my Alma Mater on a beautiful night and it reminded me the U-District Street Fair was that weekend.
Perfect 10!
