interior lights installed!
I got the super bright blue LED interior lights from RotaryFX today. I would recommend this company to anyone (even though they already are on the forum) and I plan on using them in the future. the lights were easy to install and look great and got here in 3 days after ordering them. i'll upload pictures once it gets dark out for anyone who's interested.
I just received my red door, footwell, dome, and map lights from rotary! Do you have a link to a DIY or anything like that to help me? I've never worked with wires and am afraid to start splicing X_X
no splicing needed. the covers just pop off and you swap out the standard bulbs for the leds. the leds will only turn on when put in the correct way, so make sure you're checking that they're glowing before snapping the covers back on
I just need to tap into some current wires under the dash. They are meant to turn on and off like the stock lights (unlock or door open). I'm going to attempt to put a switch in too though
I didnt cut any, just hacked into them with a wire tap or two. My car just died while i was on the freeway. I was able to bump start it back up in time before anything serious, but now im scared. taking it to mazda on monday. ugh
