I have one slot that is not spoken for and 5 deposits. So you can get on the list. Let me know. two more deposits and the slots are full and we start populating the waitlist.

ok, i think i'll get on the list for now but I may have to leave town that weekend. You said I can get the deposit back if I have to bail, yes?

Yes up to a certain point, I may have to extend it to 1 week before the event. Please let us know as soon as you find out so we can make sure all the slots are filled. When do you think you'll know?

I'll put you on the list.

dondo 12-12-2008 12:07 AM

dondo 12-12-2008 12:11 AM

Why should this event be any different than any of the others?

Razz1 12-12-2008 11:16 AM

Gee... I'd like to hold those hooter in that Avitar.

kristopher_d 12-12-2008 11:47 AM

There are over 70 bars and restaurants within 1 mile of my house. I'm sure we'll find somewhere to have a drink.:)

Officially noted. :)

First post updated with Jeff's flight cost. We now have final costs for everyone if we get 8 people.

MazdaManiac 12-15-2008 12:10 PM

Since the dyno time starts at 10am, I'd LOVE to get as many of the participants together as possible ahead of time - either Friday night or early Saturday morning - to get the road datalog portion of the tune out of the way.
It will make Saturday go much more smoothly.

Gathering somewhere that we can get the cars on and off of a highway would be best as I need the vehicles to sustain 50 - 60 MPH for a minute at a time.

I will bring TWO AccessPORTs with me, BTW.

shaunv74 12-15-2008 02:54 PM

Sounds good. I can scope out a place to meet up just north of Seattle off I-5N Probably north of the U district. That's the best place I can think of where we'll be able to get some highway time without getting stuck in too much rush hour traffic but still being reasonably close to the metro area.

dondo 12-15-2008 03:15 PM

ok, i have an OFFICIAL MM AP now too. can you update me too shaun?

I'd like to verify that one of those is slated for me? I don't mean to sound pushy or anything. I'm perfectly willing to buy one online ahead of time but this will be more convenient (and dodge shipping/sales tax :)).

Friday night portion should be doable. Maybe I'll actually drive to work that day :)

updated.

Nemesis8 12-15-2008 03:52 PM

I'm 116 miles away, so I will be there as early as I can on Saturday morning.

Well, its first come, first served.
If you want to buy one now the usual way, I'll refund you the shipping charge and hand deliver it.

That goes to anyone else on the list as well.
