Just curious... how many (or any) people here go golfing?

 

+1...too many good courses in central TX not to

pretty much every weekend

 

I love to, the clubs fit perfectly in the trunk

 

I "go" golfing. But, I usually pass out by the 9th hold from drinking. With a score higher than any of you at the 18th...

 

Another golfer here Starting next week I should be playing 9 every Thursday and 18 twice a month.

golf is lame................. according to me.

 

Absolutely! Every time you swing the club, you down a beer!!! And it takes me a lot of swings to get to a hole...

 

I'm trying to get back into the game. I used to be a 1 handicap when I was younger. It's tough to get back into the game because I also fly r/c helis. When it's sunny I go fly instead

 

I wanna get an RX golf day! But I haven't swung a club in over a year!

 

That would be cool rx8 golf day, also Mrktplayer when you where near scratch hndcp did u play highschool or college team?

 

I played in High school. I didn't play in college as I had bad grades and went to the military instead :-/

 

I used to play, my time spent golfing has been replaced with modding my car/track time.
I go to Hilton Head Island once a year for a week though.
I have the same average right/left handed.

 

I golf. no matter where the tree is, you can bet I will hit it

Speaking of golf...this weekend I plan to regrip my irons and wedges. I may reshaft the driver. The tip is a touch too stiff and not getting enough carry. Sucks my SS has lost a few MPH

Back when I golfed twice a week I had two bags. My full set that weighed more then a Yaris and my sunday bag. Couple of irons, wedge, wood, putter.

Made it easy to always have my clubs with me and since we had a pretty stable foursome all the clubs were represented between the 4 bags.

 

Talking golf can sound that way I build my own clubs and have a lot of golf equipment in the garage. I have two full bags for play and then a bunch of spare components (parts) laying around to make a couple more bags Like my car, the make up of the golf bags are all custom.

Golf is what keeps me sane. I play way too much though. To add to the diseased madness I am heading to the range in a few with that ^^ guy.
