Headed out to PIR tomorrow!
Heading to PIR with 6 coworkers. Fairly good group of cars as well. There is an EvoX, STi, RX8, 370z, GTO, and do not recall the other cars. The weather will be warm and sunny

I went to say Hi to my buddies from forged, the silver evo and that ridiculous looking s2000. It looked like a great day! I shoulda run....I regret it, but money is tight...
Look like you went off too. Luckily the damage was minimal, so it seems. My other friend (white RSX) went off big time on last track day. turn 7 is pretty sketchy. I've seen PLENTY of cars go off there. In fact I had similar experience like yours. I almost ran into the guy since it kind of acts as blind corner. Instead of rolling the throttle, I gunned it and passed him on his right. I thought it was dangerous but my instructor told me I did the right thing since there were cars behind me as well.
Did you run with that Superleggra? Did you pass it?!
Hopefully we will get to run together soon. I hope the car is ok!

Yep that is my 8 Did you see me go off the track? My instructor said if that happens again then stay on the throttle and move to the right. Sounds like you did the right thing. Hopefully I can repair the lip. If not then it is going to be a costly mistake because it is a fairly expensive piece imported from Japan.
It was a great day though and no regrets The highlight for me was riding with my instructor in a spec miata. It is incredible how much speed he carries through the corners.
The s2000 is sick and looked really fast out there. My run group had a Supercharged Lotus, 2 NSX, EVO X, STi, SuperFormance GT-40, Vette, Camaro, Scion, Forrester and a few others that I do not recall.
