Go sideways on a Sunday with SCCA Drifting! If anyone wants a safe way to try drifting this would be it. There's really nothing to damage your car and you get tons of seat time for the amount you pay.

If anyone here goes, I will go shoot pictures as long as it's not pouring rain. If I get a pic of an RX-8 going sideways, my mission for this year is complete.

I just e-mailed the drifting husband and wife duo about instructors and they said that there should be 1 or 2 people who can instruct. The skid pad will also be set up for some basic practice.

When the registration will be closed?

 

Registration closes on October 16th. Online registration only, no on-site registration available. I think this is because it takes too long due to how many people they have volunteering to work.

Ah, this is news to me. There is still the event to watch at PGP on the 16th. It's a closed drivers list so I doubt any random people would be able to get in on that one.
