Dyno Day for REAL with MM in Portland
Depends - is he an AP owner with a current MMCCS agreement? Does he need to buy an AP? etc.
It comes down to this formula:
$600 Surgeline is split equally among confirmed cars.
$1200 MM is split per time slots allocated.

If this evaporates down to (3) cars, (My NA Streetport, Dondo's Pettit Supercharger, and pdxhak's BNR Turbo).... Then maybe we can talk to MM about a reduced rate?

I'm surprised we don't have more interest, with such a great opportunity to get DYNO TUNED by the one tuner that has the most experience with our cars, and the AccessPort.

Well the thing is for me that this is my daily driver and it's on emanamge right now and I was planning on buying an accessport from driftoffice and getting it tuned from them..driftoffice specializes in Cobb ap... I might not wait till December since my last motor gave up on me while it was running too rich on emanage piggyback ecu with the "out of the box" tune
Is driftoffice familiar with the RX8? I have not heard of them doing any tuning on the RX8. IMO you are 100% better off working with MM who is very familiar with our car.

If you don't have the money for the AP yet, I bet Jeff can tune the GReddy e-manage also, just need to ask him. But if you are turbo, I would not wait to go Cobb AccessPort and have a professional tuner, like MM, dyno tune your car.
All of ours are daily drivers I bet, so it would be wise to at least consider this option. It will be a long time from now that he will be back up this way.

this is a great opportunity to dyno tune your car once and for all. once we all get tuned there'll be no reason for him to come back unless you pay all this yourself.
i know drift office has tuned one turbo 8 but don't know about the results..
Normally, I'd jump at this. I've had my car tuned at Surgeline and while Tim does a great job, both of us have wondered how much more Jeff could get out of it.
Unfortunately, my last tune has indicated (along with the onset of the dreaded hot-start symptom) that my engine is loosing compression, so I really don't see the point.
If this happens and I'm town, I'll be sure and drop by. Surgeline has a great facility.

Yes and No...
Yes, I think we will commit soon, even with the low turnout.
No, we do not have enough yet to make it cost effective, and that may kill it.
Not sure what else I can do to get interest?
