Why do you think your PCM is toast? Because of the gas mileage? I'm confused

 

When my PCM went bad the car was not drivable above 4k RPMs. Major misfires!

 

Ugh, this thread had gotten so long it'll take forever to find the finalized date. Would someone be kind enough to repost the date of the event, please?

Long story short: Daughter's having surgery later this month. Caused me to miss the dyno event I was planning on attending. Depending on when, if that offer for just a dyno is still up I MIGHT be able to take you up on that. My daughter will still be recovering throughout Dec.

Let me know if you still want me to fill a quick slot, but I will not be able to be sure if I can make until day of.

I apologize about the lack of conviction, but this will be my life for a while.

Yes, first post has the latest stats. For just a dyno only, that portion equals $600 / # of cars. Right now we have (4) cars, but that may change to (5) cars. If you join, that would be (6) cars. Remember, if we go over the (8) hours for the Surgeline staff, I will pay the next (3) hours of overtime pay myself.

So, (6) cars, $100 per car for the dyno. MM's portion is a little more complicated, but still simple math, and it requires the ownership of the AP, and is based on time slots per type of tune.

 

You have quite a few places to choose from that are within walking distance or just down the road. Here's a few options:

Teriyaki Express
Domino's
Big Town Hero
Baja Fresh
Qdoba
Panda Express

There's also Bridgeport Mall 1/4 mile down from us that has a nice selection of restaurants to choose from.

I might be in I bought a accessport last time mm was in Seattle from him and haven't touched it since. Recently had my engine replaced, clutch flywheel bhr coils ect........ I need to clock some more miles on the car to break it in to commit thou.

 

I thought it was the PCM because it just wasn't regulating anything correctly, so after I took the midpipe off and reset the PCM it was starting to operate normally. Regulated the fuel levels better and car seemed to run smoother. Apparently, to have an awesome midpipe you need an awesome AP!

 

To all still interested, please note that there are (6) tuning time slots still open. AP NA tunes take (1) slot, and AP FI tunes take (2) slots. This is a first come first serve basis. Dyno only does not require an MM tune slot, but I may need to place you at the end of the list order. We need to get the tuning complete first.
