So is this dyno day still going on? I am a fairly new owner of a rx-8 here on Whidbey Island, and I might be able to make it. But I see its limited to 10 people...

 

It's still on. It's not 'limited to 10' - but just know if you're the 11th car, you won't likely get on the rollers until the afternoon.

 

I should be able to make it. I'm interested to see how the new engine rates...and the new ignition.

 

Me? Or everybody else? If I do not make it due to not being ready, I'll dyno on my own later.

 

I may show up depending on what time you guys finish, sence I have to open the store and hope to ge off on time to may be, be the last car on the dyno!!!

 

Thanks to all who are interested. I've had a GREAT response to this! In fact, I've had such a response, I'm up to 16 cars. PIA asked if we can seperate the group to two dyno days. I've set up another on 29 March. Would 29 March be more convenient to anyone? If so, please volunteer!

We're going to start at 0830 on the 15th; first come, first serve (after me, i'm going first! :D) assuming you're on the list of those signed up. That's to say there may be ppl who show up who didn't reply about interest. Those folk won't take dyno 'slots' from folk who've replied saying they will be there, for sure. I'll have a list of your names with me, to check off.

If you'd like to tell me about what time you expect to be there, I could work up a schedule and post it. Figure each car will take about 30-45 minutes by the time it gets on the rack, makes the pulls, then removed.

I could go to both, and may be dyno on one and stick around on the other. But at what time do you plan on doing the last run so have an idea of what time I need to get off from work to be there and that way I can tell you if I can make it or not!!!

 

The time we're done depends, honestly, only on how long it takes. I know that sounds like political mumbo-jumbo, but it's all I've got, bro.
