they charge you $85 membership fee, then tell you what upcoming events you want to promote at, after about 4 shows you get the parts you wanted. they dont have any good sponsors though, only a few and only offer very little.

there are about 38 sponsors for the 8 but not good ones, and you only one part every 4 shows and there not close together. so its really not worth it.

The short story is 9 out of 10 people are simply going to be taken advantage of with groups like carsponsorships.com

The concept they put forward is simply too good to be true. I spoke at length with a local phoenix car guy who was hooked up with sponsors through this or a similar company. It requires a lot of capital up front from travel costs, entry fees and of course purchasing the actual products.

Assuming you get sponsored doesn't mean you get to pick what parts you put on your car. If you get a hood sponsor you get to run the hood they want. Get a body kit sponsor, you run the body kit they want.

Can you honestly get some serious sponsorships through carsponsorships or other similar companies? Sure! But it's a lot of work, dedication, and money of which most people are not willing to make the effort.

Best thing is to save your cash and spend it on mods you want and fees to events you like.
