As someone who lives in the Wenatchee area, I urge everyone driving over here for Apple Blossom to please drive the speed limit. The State Patrol do not mess around at all. You can expect a greater prescence on I-90 from about North Bend over to the hwy 97 cuttoff, and from there, all the way into Wenatchee. Particular hotspots are the hwy 97/2 interchange, hwy 2 just before Cashmere, approximately mile post 114-117 at the 'rock cut', and again just past Monitor, at a place called Monitor flats just before you climb the hill into Wenatchee. I am not putting this info up to encourage anybody to speed, rather, the State Patrol do not mess around this weekend, and will pull anybody going more than a few miles an hour over, especially if you are driving a car that garners attention (read RX-8). Consider this fair warning, and if you speed, you get what you deserve. Please, please, please, drive carefully, and I look forward to seeing many of you over here.
