They're both good intakes, I prefer the RB's looks of the RB and I like the concept of the air duct better then the filter placement of the AEM/MS. (that's just my personal opinion)
Just go with whatever intake you like the looks of better, the price, and the sound. Performance (hp) wise, they're all going to be about the same

It's about 3 feet off the ground, if you're driving in deep enough water to actually fully submerge the filter in water, you deserve to have your warranty voided.
Besides, a rotary can suck in water no problem. It'll run rough until its all evaporated and out, but it'll be fine. In fact it's a semi-common practice for rx7 owners to hook up a large vac hose to a bucket of water to clean the internals of the engine.

You can have the engine cover with the AEM/MS intake too. However, the RB one keeps the stock look of the engine bay. But I figure that I shed some weight too by removing the stock airbox. I have had the AEM since before the MS one came out. I love it and would recomend it to anyone.

I have the AEM intake because I really didn't see a reason to spend $50 more for the Mazdaspeed logo. The intake sounds really good, especially right around 6000RPM, and may have given a slight performance increase.

Racing beat REVi. You should check out there official website and see what they say about it. They dont try to over exaggerate their product by hyping it up. Everythings legit.

Been hearing lots of good stuff on the MS CAI system. I was actually debating on getting the MS CAI but decided to grab the K&N Typhoon Short Ram intake kit instead. Then used the remaining money to purchase a set of Tanabe GF210 springs. Installed the K&N kit last week myself and still waiting for the springs to arrive. I'll have the springs installed though over at Speedware in Redmond (thanks to Fabro & Shaunv74's recommendation ).
