Jen and I are in for the 16th. Sign up or get left behind. Seriously folks this is so much more fun than sitting on the couch getting fatter.

Cool. I'll be running the route tomorrow afternoon. I've been putting it off in hopes that the couple of mudslides I heard about will be taken care of. If not, I have alternate roads ready to splice into the route.

Thumbs up

I would like to go along(on the 16th), but looks like the registration is closed...If so, I will just watch you guys leave the park and then follow you in a very stealthy manner :D I probably won't go on the entire drive anyways but it would be cool to meet some local rx8 drivers. I did alot fo meets down in LA but none since I have moved up here.

Registration isn't closed. I think you're seeing the following lines
Event Start 09:00
Registration Closed 16 Dec 2007 00:00
That just means that at midnight between Saturday Night and Sunday morning the site will stop taking reservations. I use that list primarily to determine how many route maps to print. Of course, in the VERY rare instance that no one signs up, I may cancel a run, but that's only happened once in the 19 months we been making these runs, and NEVER on a Sunday drive.

To sign up at the-winding-road, you'll need an account there. I'm giving my personal guarantee that your information will never be sold or shared. I hate it when that happens to me, I certainly wont do it to you. If you're having trouble, just let me know and I'll get you set up.

It's all ages. It's mainly for fun the dress up part. You should at least have a drivers license to be a driver.

you can check out the details on where we are going for lunch. at www.the-winding-road.com

I think Kris has found us a brew pub or something. It's just casual fun. We go for a drive on Kris' route, then stop for lunch at a destination Kris picks out. Do some sightseeing if there's something to see and then do the 2nd half of the drive. It's a nice fun day.

Pubs are all ages in WA. Obviously, not for the brew, but the restaurants are fine.
