Ask many of the Aussy LS1 owners that are de-tuned to about 300HP if they have had their motors re-built / replaced under warranty with less than a few thousand miles on them. Excessive oil consumption problems attributed to the rings.
I agree the thread is a little moot, but I believe there is no harm in talking about radical projects of engine swaps.
I wonder if the BMW brigade complains about the M1 I see in Phil's workshop with a twin turbo 26B in it? (yes - a quad rotor). Didn't have my camera on me that day

This whole LS1 conversion has been beaten to death over at RX7 forum. Go check it out. More than a few

I wonder if the Corvette guys know a Chev Beretta with a 20B triple turbo was the first rotar to crack 200MPH?? I was there when it happened - the crowd, obviously mostly following V8 tribal culture, erupted in raptures of delight!
