the handling suffers due to excess weight at the front ..... it is very tail happy .... very controllable though

For a car that's bought second hand without an engine, the one you have has a pretty clean interior, take note on the shift ****!

rotaries seldom last 30k over here ..... mostly because people do not know how to take care of them ..... they put synthetic Mobil oil , run it on low grade petrol , do not warmup the engine properly before thrashing it etc etc

can you make a video where you start the engine with open hood? it would be nice to hear your Rx8 running with another engine

Holy crap... this thread is awesome for so many reasons. For starters I had no idea there was even a car scene in Pakistan, the vision of dozens of 1JZ swapped RX-8s rolling around there is sweet. Also its a really good looking swap and I'm sure a lot of fun. More pics!!

Damn that's cheap. Can you take some detailed pics of the engine bay? A nice writeup would be helpful to the rest of the world

no cutting is required .... just new mounts have to be made ... if you don't have any experience with mounts then you would need a professional

when you say no welding involve , you mean i can still use the powersteering rack from the rx8 / no modding in the engine bay at all and only need to make new engine mounts or brackets? and the 1jz gte would fit right in ?

OP I think what most people want to see is the detail of the build here. This is obviously an interesting swap, and by your descriptions you make it sound fairly straight forward, which is what makes this sound so appealing. What we want to see is details on how you did it step by step.

I have had my stock RX8 to 132mph (212kph). It got there pretty quick, honestly expected this thing to be quicker.
