sick swap man, here I am who got a rotary car for the rotary motor. I finished my 1j r154 swap into an mk3 auto chassis in 2010 at that time it was hard enough going into a chassis it was designed for and you slammed one into a mazda, great work on your Rx-8.
I just sourced out a nice rx8 shell. I have my current build (2jz /R154) ready. What diff are you using? i have a 3.7, 4.1, 4.3, from my MK3. did you swap out the diff or use the rx8, if so what ratio are you using? I'd like to keep it between 3.7 and 4.10 if possible.
the FD diff w/ torsen & "3.909 " can this swap directly in to the rx8 diff? Sorry if this is a noob question i tried doing some research on a 2jz swap with these cars and not too many out there. I have a NC mx-5 but there are zero platforms/ swap kits for it that I can find so I'm off to an RX8
That is an awesome transmission adapter. I've not seen one done that way before. Just the plates that go from the bell housing to the block.
