I was thinking about dropping a 2jz in my 2005 rx8 , what would u think the cost would be for this swap , when my engine blows and I need a rebuild I'm really considering this

 

contact paul at mazmart, hes putting together a diy and possibly a turn key swap but it will most likely cost 1/3 of your house

 

I'm thinking of doing a swap to my 04 I have a garage and all the time in the world. Obv the 2jz is one of the beast motors out there, would you do anything different now that its done?

I am part of the LS swap FB group and I think 4 of the guys so far have had their diff rotate and shred everything to pieces.

I think I have come up with a way to stop any rotation in it, but I am interested to see how you went about it, as your definitely putting enough power to the ground!

Out of curiousity! Has anyone replaced their lower front anti roll bar with other bar, especially for those with 1JZ or 2JZ conversion?

For my case, the stock bar had to be dismantle as the bar was interfering with the conversion. Your experience is greatly appreciate. Thanks

 

Hi every1 I am new to this, I am building a rx8 2jz swap iv done everything and so far has cost me in total £3,300 to build but stuck on the last part the electrics I am struggling on how to do this I have both 2jz and rx8 ecu and I wish to use the original cluster. Help plzzzzzz

 

Nice, but the TORQUE! I love my 8 but it can't get out of its own way. I have driven a number of muscle cars recently and they feel big and heavy, but when you plant the throttle they move. That is all the 8 needs to be truly awesome. TORQUE!
