XCarLink on 9.50 firmware with wheel controls?
I bought my car with a Yatour, and a separate bluetooth -> aux module, that's just connected by an aux cable to the yatour. This works (almost) fine for playing music from my phone. When I'm connecting and it's not playing anything, it's making some noises.
The most annoying part though is the fact that I can't skip the music by clicking on the radio or the steering wheel buttons.
Now I'm wondering - is that because the yatour doesn't support it, or is it my radio's firmware? My radio is on 9.50.
I'd be willing to purchase an XCarLink if it gave me wheel controls. I've read on other threads that their XCarLinks worked on 9.50 but just wouldn't let them use the actual CD reader, but I don't care about it at all. I just need to know if the wheel controls work over bluetooth, and nobody seems to have mentioned it.
Thanks!

Decided to bite the bullet and just get it. Bought an XCarLink with Bluetooth and AUX (and USB for charging only) and it works! I can skip, I can seek 10s, it plays fine and I don’t get static noise anymore. Well worth it considering I only paid $30 for a new one, with a microphone to use it as a hands-free system too!
