what would you do?
i really like the rx8 i like the way they look, drive and would be just a fun car on the weekends to drive.i know they extended there warranty so thats a plus.so i was thinking wait 2 more years till my mazda3 is paid off then maybe look at getting a used 2010 or 2011 rx8 knowing the warranty is good till 2018 or 2019 or tradeing my car in now and getting a frs or brz i heard these cars a pretty close in performance but i dont know if these cars are priced to high at $25,000 and the interior seams a little cheap compared to the rx8.i see alot of 2004 to 2007 rx8 pretty cheap but have at least 80,000 miles on them and worry how the rotary was taken care of.

Before even attempting to give advice, what are you wants for whichever route you take? Are you going to want to take multiple passengers, have room for storage, want low-maintenance / lower maintenance costs, etc.?
The RX8 is a wonderful car, and it benefits over the others you mention as it can actually fit 4 full-sized adults, whereas the FRS/BRZ most definitely cannot. It also has plenty of storage room in comparison, and I believe the interior is of much better quality. Performance-wise, it is faster, and handles better as well.
On the other hand - the BRZ/FRS as you said would be brand new, come with bumper-bumper warranty (RX8 extended warranty only applies to engine core components), and will most likely have a much lower maintenance cost than the RX8. On top of that, the engine itself will most likely be more reliable over the long run, though who really knows as those cars are still pretty fresh on the market. The mileage would also be slightly better than the RX8, though I'm not sure what concern this is as they are both sports cars.
For myself, I would choose the RX8 simply because of the looks, the performance, handling, and most importantly in a comparison such as this, the ability to take 4 friends with me and have more than sufficient cargo space. I do not mind high maintenance vehicles and I am aware of what possible costs are involved in owning a rotary-powered engine (and I've ran into a few costs for sure), but when it came down to it, the BRZ/FRS just didn't have for ME what the RX8 does.
Both great cars, though! Just my .02$

Don't go with the FRS. They have severe problems. Bad motors from the factory.
Blowing up from defective valve trains and fuel injection seals.
Electrical problems with seat belt and windows not going up or down.
Radio interface sucks. Can not connect to phone all the time.
No TSB's and factory will not admit to problems.
False advertising: does not have independent suspension (double wish bone)
Runs hot looses power so it only has 130 RWHP.
If you can afford it, pick one up a RX8 now as the miles will be low.
I love the looks of the BRZ but just too many things you have to sacrifice as compared to the 8 not to mention the problems with that car.
For 32k any other car near that price just kills it with interior and auxiliary functions.
Big power dip in mid range for fuel economy.
Plus they're still 3 grand over sticker.
Should be a 19- 20k car.
There's a ton of used ones in Orange county and they are not moving off the lot's.
I wonder why?
Gut less problem plague car.

I have seen plenty of these at the track and know several people that have them and none of them seem to be experiencing the 130hp / poor handling you have experienced.
That being said I don't care for the sound of them and really don't like the interior, for the money I would rather have the RX-8. I'm with FungsterRacing though, it really comes down to preference and what your wants/needs out of the car are.

You'll notice that posts on this (and most) internet forums tend to be written in a rather extreme, dramatic way; everything's in black and white. Subtle, tempered opinions are the exception.
