Weight Distribution with or without spare tire

So I installed the spare tire mounting kit on my 2010 GT...They said the whole kit is close to 30 lbs thanks to the aluminum spare wheel.

I wanted to get a spare tire for peace of mind...not sure how well those IMA really works and if its worth destroying the tire after using it...on top of that the kit kinda sorta acts like a rear strut bar LOL.

So if its 52/48 weight distribution without the wheels...so maybe I'm really close to 50/50 LOL.

The official distribution is 51/49, for the record.

This is worth its own thread somehow?

I have 90 track hours on my car with a subwoofer and amp in my trunk. Top that.

51/49? Dammit. I'm going to have to take that body out of my trunk.

I don't think I will go out of my way to put a spare wheel in the back. It sucks to destroy a tire, I agree, but seems like the mounting kit and the wheel are really expensive.

And speaking of the IMR... My bottle of sealant expired like 5 years ago. What's a good place to get cheap replacements? The dealership charges $100+ for a bottle. I know there are those cheap sealants you can buy in auto stores, but I can't fit it in the small box.

i got one really cheap...$180 with shipping...no tire though...

On the plus side its un-intentionally acting as a rear strut bar also...not as good as a regular rear strut bar but its there...
