Unpredictable speaker malfunction
I own a 2004 8, it's well kept, and runs beautifully. There are only a few issues with my vehicle. Perhaps the most annoying issue is that sometimes I cannot get any sound out of my speakers.
I first noticed this issue when I still had the stock head unit installed. I have since replaced it and added subs in the trunk, which I thought would fix the problem, but it didn't. The symptoms are: as soon as I start my vehicle I will know if I will be able to listen to any music or not because all I will hear output wise is my subs booming in the back. No other speaker works (all speakers are the stock Bose). A couple times now, when everything was working fine they will cut out during my drive but for whatever reason come back to. If I start my car and they are not working, they will not randomly kick on during my drive. I have searched the forums and other websites looking for help, but can't find anything on this subject. Thanks in advance.
