Unhappy Turning noise when cold weather

(Sorry I'm not good at English)

Hi, My 8 is 04 automatic.

When cold weather(under 0 degree celsius) full turning handle left or right, I heard very big sound from under the car(not sure front or rear, but may be rear).

It's like heavy metalic sound and it comes 2 or 3 times(when car is moving)

Is it something broken noise? It is not heard over 0 degree celsius.

Does it sound a "popping" sound like a metal hitting metal? You could have a damaged or loose steering component that binds and pops out of place when turning. Cold weather makes metal shrink so the cold weather may just be making a damaged part more noticeable. If you can or know how, check your steering components and bushings.

Check front lug torque as well. There is a problem with a coating on, I think, the rotor. I seem to recall that the original torque spec was in the 80's, and the fix was to go to the high 90's.
