UK Thinking of getting a RX8

Hello All,
Im clearly in the right place to talk about the RX-8, But there's a few "wifes tales" that i just want to clear up.

60k Miles = Engine Rebuild

Slightly concerned by that one in particular.

Also when buying a RX8 what things should i be looking out for and make sure it has, for example full service history from mazda? Anything to help me out would be of great help and if all goes well ill be apart of the RX8 drivers club

Thanks
Sam

Have you read this thread? I'd rather not copy and paste all the posts here. https://www.rx8club.com/new-member-f...t-here-202454/

HA, 60k does not = rebuild or I am coming up on trouble.

Some basic things to check on that may not be as obvious is if/when spark plugs and particularly ignition coils have been replaced. The older coils start to go bad but may work good enough to keep the car running after 20-30k miles, but may promote carbon buildup if left on much longer. If someone is on top of things enough to change the coils preemptively, that is a good sign.
