hey everyone, quick question.

Whenever I drive around, I find my coolant light (red bird cage looking light) to be constantly turning on and off. This especially happens upwards of 60mph, and tends to turn back off when the car is in neutral/ I am sitting at a stoplight. Research has told me that this is simply a defect in the Rx8 system, and is nothing to worry about, but, is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Probably a bad coolant level sensor. Provided your coolant is at the proper level, just replace the coolant tank.

 

Either replace the tank with the new improved version or pull the plug to the sensor.

Or think of clever stories to entertain passengers who might be concerned.
