Temperature on display doesn't go over 70

Hey everyone, I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem before. My car is a 2011 RX-8 Sport (manual A/C, non Bose), and my infotainment is a Pioneer SPH-10BT using some janky custom wiring installed two owners ago to use a Parrot Asteroid radio (I'm the fourth, and this could very well be the issue). The A/C still displays on the top display - it shows the outside air temperature, whether the A/C is on, fresh/recirculating air controls, and where the air is blowing. The issue is that the outside temperature display doesn't go over 70 degrees! If the temperature is above 70 degrees (which is basically all the time in Texas), the display shows 70 degrees. However, if it's colder than that, the display shows a temperature below 70 (I have not checked whether this number is accurate at all). Anybody have any ideas as to what's going on? I do not have a factory radio to test things with, and I also plan on replacing the stereo wiring to gain steering wheel controls in the future. Thanks for your help!

Never mind, the steering wheel controls kit I installed fixed it.
