Strange noise can’t figure out
Im having issues with my rx8 I can’t figure out what this noise is. It’s a 2004 auto 88k miles here is a video
Also it doesn’t sound like it’s coming from the air pump

Any problem with starting?

Kinda sounds like a whine from the belt, but I am not sure about that metal rattling sound.

Just installed new alternator but noise was there before. I put wd40 on all pulleys and noise is still there. Starting is fine cold I have issues sometimes hot.

Did you ever figure out the problem, same thing is happening to mine and i cant figure it out. It happened out of nowhere.
