I have a 04 Mazda rx8 and my radio seems to not want to put out sound. I can see it changing stations and all the functions but I have to sound. I check both fuses and replaced them to be sure. And still nothing. Any ideas.

 

I'm having this problem too in an '05, I posted in another thread too. Have you had any luck? I think it's the rear amp, I have some replacement ideas:

This: Kenwood KAC-M1824BT

Or this: Lanzar HTG448BT

 

Unfortunately I don't have the solution but have heard of many issues with the stereo on 04 and 05.

 

Multiple people have this problem it seems, i don't know if anyone has figured it out. BTW olly i would do the kenwood.
