Hi

I have a 2004 231 HP

When i start it up, sometimes it makes a shuddering awful noise like a tractor

It still goes like an absolute beast though,feels like no loss of power,over takes well it just every few times does this over past few days

I wondered if it was the starter coils?

Any ideas?

Check your ignition system (coils, wires & plugs).
