Hey guys new to this forum since i am not yet an RX-8 owner (i currently drive a 04' Mazda 6 wagon) i found a 05' RX-8 with 95k miles on it for $6000 can you guys help me out? what are the pros/cons of buying a used RX-8, with proper maintenance how many miles can you expect to get out of a rotary engine? I'm interested in the car and have started doing some research into them just want to know the probability of needing to rebuild the motor right after i buy it or will it make it to 200k miles, and what are some signs to look for before purchasing that can tell me if its going to need a rebuild soon? I know even with perfect maintenance these engines can crap out at 100k just wondering what the probability is of this and some first hand experiences. Thanks for your help guys.
