secondary air pump, what am I looking for?

Just got an 8, and let's just say it's a bit modified. Drivetrain is supposedly stock with alot of things removed. I'm in the process of registration and will need emissions testing. I pulled 2 codes after some driving this morning (p0410 and p2259) both referring to secondary air pump voltage. I was thinking I can probobally wire it up to fool the ECU with the right voltages. I'm not sure what I'm looking for or where to start. Just a point in the right direction would really be appreciated.

Does it still have a cat? If so, you want a functional air pump for longer cat life.

From what I can tell it still has a cat. There's no codes for O2 sensors. Il look into seeing what I can do about rewiring one back up but it seems like keeping the stock cat isn't great for the engine in the long term. Someone on another forum mentioned that I should be able to tune out the codes and it will pass an OBDII emissions test so I may go that route just to drive the car and enjoy it for the time being

Removing the cat isn't super required, it's your choice. It will stink without it. As long as you check it once in a while and stay on top of your ignition health the cat shouldn't cause problems. Bad ignition kills cats, bad cats kill engines.

Il keep that in mind, thanks. Il have to look into what I can do about the cat sence il still need it to pass emissions, hence why I may need the vaccumme pump fixed
