Seafarer RX8

Thanks for reading.

Im just enquiring about an rx8 and wondered if anyone had any information on laying up an rx8. I would love an rx8 but I work away at sea for 4 months at a time and have heard this is no good for an rx8.

My dad had an rx7 and when that was laid up he used to cover the rotor tips with oil. Is this sonething you can do in an rx8 and how?

Storing the car for months at a time is not an issue. Put the battery on a trickle charger and take the weight off the tires (jack it up on all four corners) and go do what you do. The car will be fine.

I've always stored the engine dry - do the deflood proceedure beforehand

and prime with 2 stroke before start up - redline it on your first run since storage
