I just bought an '05 and a GROM USB2 for it so I could use my iPod with the radio. I originally wanted to use the 'SAT' firmware version, so that i could get the iPod text on my display (instead of that 'EX' nonsense). However, my SAT function doesn't work. I do have a SAT button on my head unit, and I have firmware 9.67 (which is supposed to support the SAT function), but for some reason, when I hit the SAT button, it turns to AM radio, whether the GROM unit is connected or not, which forces me to use the 'CDC' firmware version. Am I doing something wrong here? ...or is my head unit messed up?
