Hey everyone!
Coming to you from Gainesville, Florida! I have seen about 5 RX8's here and wave at most. Only gotten a wave back from about 2. I know "The Jeep wave" but I think rx8 owners can do better. Do you all wave to other owners or is it just me? If not we all should start something to show what a good community we are and not ignorant people because we have good cars. Thanks all and hope to hear from you all soon

 

In my experience RX8 owners just stare/glare at eachother while driving past thinking "What the hell is wrong with that guy? What a stupid car to own!" I call it the Rx8 stare.

I usually give a quick wave or flash my lights.

I've been chased down 3 or 4 times by owners until I stopped... that's always fun. It's okay though. I'm always packing .

None to date have been negative encounters.

That's usually about it though.

No, we own a dumb car. It's lovely but it should never have existed. Don't get me wrong, I love them to death, but they're ridiculous in every sense.

I'll wave at you if you ever come down to visit AZ! I hear that even the jeep wave is fading as they're starting to turn into the default 'soccer mom' cars, because you need a 200+ Horsepower 4wd doorless truck to haul your kids to school. Obviously.

 

If I would have a wife and kids I would also buy her a truck. Just for the safety of the kids, because I wouldn't want them to die in a carcrash because of her potential shitty driving.

 

 

Wow! I wave, give thumbs up, and have been chased once by two young hot girls in a Red 04-08. They rolled up beside me at a light and said "Nice ride" I replied in a completely awkward and embarrassing... "Nice ride to you too..."

Then I went for a RIP there bud!!!!!!

 

I drive too fast to take both hands off of the wheel.

 

I give the shaka, sometimes get a wave or some kind of acknowledgement. The drivers are always dudes
